Gazelle horns or Kaab El Ghazal, (translating to gazelle ankles) is the queen of Moroccan desserts. It has a signature crescent-shape that you’ll be happy to sink your teeth into. This family recipe has lovingly been passed down for generations.
Our Gluten-Free gazelle horns are made with an almond paste filling wrapped in thin, crisp pastry and flavored with orange blossom water. These pastries are very different from other baked goods, as they demand quite some time commitment to make correctly; however, they are worth it! There are numerous versions of gazelle horns, but we are proud to offer a gluten-free version reduced in sugar.
This version has NO dairy, and we use our homemade ghee!
We can also modify the recipe to ensure it fits vegan lifestyles, ensuring that it is sweetened ONLY with dates (upon request)!
